Connect your platforms securely

Connecting your accounts lets Chatedits publish on your behalf — and it's safer than you think.

1. Open “Connect your platforms”

Offered during onboarding, this step remains accessible anytime from settings. You'll see the list: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest and Facebook.

2. Authorize via the official platform

Tapping a platform redirects you to its official login page (OAuth protocol). You identify with them, never with us: Chatedits never sees nor stores your passwords, it only receives a revocable authorization token.

3. Check the green tick

Back in the app, the platform shows “Connected ✓”. Repeat for each network you use — you can do it later from settings.

Common questions

• Revoking access? Anytime, from Chatedits settings or directly from the platform.
• Professional account required? For Instagram, direct publishing requires a professional or creator account (free to enable).
• Multiple accounts? Possible depending on your plan — handy for agencies.
